The moment I realized that I really saw you, you weren’t actually there.
I knew it because I looked into the things of the world, and they all looked like you.
Were you reflected in these elements, or these elements started talking about you?
To see you in your entirety, it wasn’t enough to simply frame you.
I also had to photograph the places you’ve been, those where you’ve never been, the objects that belonged to you and those that seemed to know you, that told something about you.
To see you all, I took a step back and framed your world.
And I’ve seen it all.
And it was magnificent.
All photos are part of a larger series and have been digitalized from medium format film.
